The cost of epoxy poured floors is higher than polyester floors. Summarizing, we can say that epoxy resins are much stronger and more durable, but more expensive. Unlike epoxy resins, polyester resins can cure without adding additional components. And on top of that, polyester has a pungent odor.
The quality of polymer flooring is measured by abrasion resistance, density, viscosity, material consumption, curing time, Taber abrasion, and gelation.
The material is guaranteed for 20 years by the manufacturer, but much will depend on the quality of installation and compliance with the manufacturer's technical recommendations.
A lot depends on the grade of concrete and sometimes people make the mistake of choosing pads by choosing more or less expensive products. Diamond pads or frankfurters are measured by “dust”, how much “dust” they polish you with, that's how well it performs.
